Please Stay Here With Me (Glenn Conway's Song) (Folk/CCM)
PLEASE STAY HERE WITH ME (Song For Glenn Conway)
(Copyrighted 2018)

Please stay here with me
Give me some more time
Let me hold you closely
To last for my Lifetime
Just stay here with me
Please stay here with me
Please stay here with me........................

Verse 1:
My heart is heavy
My world is undone
Always towards you
Is where I run
Where I run.......... Where I run

Verse 2:
Who explains the loss
And the pain
You're the sunshine in
A driving rain
A driving rain.......... A driving rain

Verse 3:
You are a mountain in the distance
Your love rolls the water in the sea
Moves the clouds through the sky
The love lives and it will not die
It will not die.... It will not die

Verse 4:
Your love covers the dark
You're gone but pain free
You live on in many hearts
Forever etched in memory
Etched in memory....... Etched in memory

Long Song Description:

A Song for my Cousin Glenn Conway. On May 19th 2018, he was told he was Terminally ill. Died Fathers Day on June 17, 2018. He had just wanted me to write him a song when he phoned me to tell the news. I was able to get it written and recorded in 3 weeks for him to hear, only 3 days before his passing. The message is pretty clear but the lyrics are done to reflect Glenn's importance to an individual as they hear the song.
Story Behind the Song:

Glenn's sister played it for him the first time June 14th. Shannon Kenny shared that moment........"It was a beautiful and unforgettable moment in time Steve. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of playing it for him.
Glenn closed his eyes and listened intently to your lyrics of his song. Thank you for writing such incredible words that evoke the deepest of emotions and the purest of love".
