Verse A

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb( 3 or 4th Octave)
When I was a little boy

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
You watched my first step

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb (4th or 5th Octave)
I grew meek and so mild

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
You were there even as I wep

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb
To comfort; to keep the child.

Verse B

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb ( 3 or 4th Octave)
And when I turned into a man

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
I drifted from the Master Plan

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb (4th or 5th Octave)
I found love in material things

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
Only pain is what it brings..

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb
To love you when I thought I can

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
You opened the door, and I still ran..

Verse C

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb ( 3 or 4th Octave)
Now as the end comes near

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
I remember the child and man

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb (4th or 5th Octave)
Your words, I hope to hear

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
That I'm still part of the plan

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db A#/Bb
As the pain continues to seer

C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb C#/Db--D#/Eb--C#/Db G#/Ab
With your love, I will not fear

Pro Review by Jack Dennis , Ohio, US

Gotta go with 5 stars across. Song and lyrics are outstanding as well as the vocal. Message is humbling and beautiful the way it's conveyed. While I like the folk feel of just guitar and vocal, I would really like to hear this song with more instrumentation, vocal harmonies where appropriate, etc. - to see if it would be even more moving. Keep doing what you are doing. I'm sure the Lord is pleased.

Short Song Description:
